Michael Dale
President, Board of Directors
Michael (he/him) has served as President of the Board for Boise Pride since the fall of 2018, bringing a deep passion for LGBTQ+ visibility, advocacy, and community building. With a background in business development from his previous role at Zions Bank, Michael blends strategic leadership with a dedication to fostering inclusive spaces where everyone can thrive.
Outside of Boise Pride, Michael works in Properties for Minneapolis-based Target, further contributing his expertise in strategy and operations.
Since stepping into the role, Michael has helped lead the organization through a period of significant growth—including record-setting fundraising, expanded programming, and unprecedented attendance at the annual Boise Pride Festival. Under his leadership, Boise Pride has broadened its reach and impact with year-round initiatives that support and uplift the LGBTQ+ community across Idaho.
Michael is driven by the belief that Pride is more than just a weekend or a month—it’s a movement.

Joseph Kibbe
Vice President, Board of Directors
Joseph Kibbe (he/him) is a seasoned banking professional with 24 years of experience in Commercial Banking at Wells Fargo. He brings strong corporate leadership skills to his nonprofit work, combining strategic planning with community engagement. Role at Boise Pride Festival As Vice President, Joseph oversees sponsorship development, community partnerships, governmental relations, and year-round event planning. His expertise helps ensure the festival’s growth, inclusivity, and strong community impact. Board Service & Advocacy Joseph has dedicated over 10 years as a board member of both Boise Pride Festival and the LGBT Community Center, championing LGBTQ+ visibility, support, and equity in Idaho. Personal Life Joseph lives in the beautiful Treasure Valley with his long-term partner, Rion. Together, they enjoy photography, music, and exploring Idaho’s scenic landscapes.

Ryan Russel
Secretary, Board of Directors
For the past seven years, Ryan Russell (he/him) has proudly served on the Boise Pride board, bringing passion, purpose, and unwavering commitment to Boise’s LGBTQIA+ community. As a parent to two incredible teenagers and proudly partnered with the love of his life, Ryan’s life is rooted in love, authenticity, and the belief that everyone deserves to feel seen, safe, and celebrated.
Ryan is especially proud to be one of the founders of Boise’s Diversity Prom, an event born from a deep desire to create affirming spaces for LGBTQIA+ youth to express themselves freely and joyfully. Whether organizing, advocating, or simply showing up with heart, Ryan’s dedication to Boise Pride and the broader community is constant and deeply personal.
Boise is more than just home—it’s a place where Ryan has chosen to plant roots, raise a family, and build something beautiful with others who share a vision of equity, acceptance, and joy. His years of service on the board have only deepened his commitment to uplifting, empowering, and celebrating the rich diversity of this incredible community.

Dillon Copperi
Board Member
Dillon Copperi (he/him) has been involved with Boise Pride Festival since 2018 and proudly serves on the Board of Directors. With a focus on logistics and a hands-on approach to event planning, Dillon helps ensure the festival runs smoothly and continues to grow each year.Having grown up in an environment where being himself didn’t always feel safe, Dillon is deeply committed to building a community where everyone can live authentically and unapologetically. His work with Boise Pride is rooted in a personal mission: to help others know that being yourself isn’t just okay — it’s something to be proud of.

Sara Gibbons
Volunteer Coordinator, Board of Directors
Sara Gibbons (she/her) is a dedicated nurse with a passion for pediatric healthcare and over a decade of leadership experience in the medical field. She holds a PhD in education and brings that same spirit of care, service, and learning to her work with Boise Pride. After moving to Boise in 2019, Sara began volunteering with the organization in 2021 and quickly became an essential part of the team. She joined the board in 2022 and continues to coordinate volunteers for the annual festival and other events throughout the year.Sara and her husband are both deeply committed to the Boise community, serving on nonprofit boards that help make the city a more inclusive and supportive place. For Sara, being part of Boise Pride means creating a space where people of all ages feel safe, welcomed, and free to be themselves.

Donald Williamson
Executive Director
Donald Williamson (he/him) is the Executive Director of the Boise Pride Festival, bringing a wealth of experience and a deep passion for community to his role. A native Oregonian, Donald relocated to the Treasure Valley in 2012 with his family to be closer to his wife’s roots.With over 25 years of experience in sales, management, and training, Donald has built a career rooted in leadership and connection. Since moving to Idaho, he has worked as a technician in the St. Luke’s Meridian Emergency Room, taken on the rewarding role of stay-at-home father, and now leads one of Boise’s most vibrant and inclusive events.
Outside of work, Donald enjoys mountain biking, spending quality time with family and friends, and cooking for loved ones at every opportunity. His favorite part of the Boise Pride Festival? “Seeing the community gather together and the looks of joy on their faces.”

Davis Hilton
Marketing Director
Davis Hilton (they/them) is a creative marketing professional with a passion for community, storytelling, and queer visibility. After growing up in Boise, they moved to Portland, Oregon to pursue education in business, marketing, and photography. Davis ran a successful wedding photography business for over a decade, worked at an advertising agency, and provided marketing consulting across a range of industries. As a published photographer, their work focuses on celebrating queer individuality and self-expression.Now back in Boise, Davis is honored to help lead the vision of Boise Pride, using their voice and creativity to uplift the mission and movement of the LGBTQ+ community in Idaho.
